#Photowalk February: Seagulls travel far!

Quick photo walk post from my cool-down walk yesterday. Passing the train station in the morning, and - #looking-up - I saw the regular spotted seagulls.

I live in the middle of the country, near the Peak District, so I’m always amazed to see seagulls so far from the coast.

I do love hearing their cries, as it immediately conveys seaside memories.

Absolutely love this! Great picture. ❤️

I used to live near the Peak District. There’s so much beautiful countryside up there. I miss it! Fond memories of walking along Stanage Edge, getting lost up Kinder Scout in fog and losing a hat in the Ladybower reservoir! Lovely part of the world. A visit back up there is overdue.

We’re not so far from the sea here! If I hear them, I look up as it usually means they are ganging up on the local buzzards!

…but I agree…a very evocative seaside sound…

O I love the seaside but to get seagulls here a bit too far. In the middle of Scottish Borders.

Nice one! But you can keep the sea gulls, we have loads and they are huge
